Sumario: | An ideal to be used as retrograde filling should seal
the channels of communication between the root
canal system and surrounding tissue material.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relevant
scientific information on the physical, chemical and
biological properties of mineral trioxide aggregate
(MTA), Biodentine (BD) and bioceramic (BC), used as
retrograde filling materials.
A clinical case of a patient with a history of trauma
in a previous dental element, with the presence of
calcified canal is described and whose diagnosis was
