Sumario:A notable feature of Luis Sagasti’s poetics is the relationship between non-verbal arts and literature. The dialogues between music, painting, and literature, which are a constant in his writing, are formalized more clearly in the construction of the aesthetic object book-musical cd El arte de la fuga (2016), with illustrations by Ana Sanz Durán and music by Nico Cota of Editorial Treintayseis. The story of the characters, musical figures who decide to escape from the pentagram, is narrated through different languages that establish multiple relationships among themselves. In this article, we aim to explore from some notes the aesthetic proposal of the book that is constructed as a metafictional device, insofar as it challenges the reader by calling attention to its mode of construction.
