Sumario:A translation, as a practice and as an experience, is, Meschonnic said, also an art of poetry. If this translation appears in a poetry review that looks for to design its tradition, its aesthetics, a cultural identity, muchmore. The objective of this paper is to analyze the translation’s theories and the translations in two poetry reviews of the 80’s, Diario de Poesía and Xul, and its poetics. The choose of the translated authors, the kind of the translations, how these appears in the reviews, the translations theories involved in polemics, introductions, papers, essays, are a chapter, and not the less interesting, in the polemic between neobaroque and objectivism, and this also a discussion between poetry and politics
