Sumario:After the already classic studies by Gustavo Gullón, Lily Litvak, Gutierez Guirardot, Raymond Skyrme, among many, literary criticism agrees in accepting Modernism aesthetic, moral and social unity. This criticism als admits that the dissimilar and apparently opposed trends that conform Modernism, constitute a rejection to the positivist world and an aspiration to Beauty, conceived this later as an entity in itself, feasible of being captured by the poet. According to this, we aim at showing the way in which post- Romantic Aesthetics functioned as theoretical framework in the understanding of the poetic basics as well as the relationships with particular perspectives that acquired the literary types and art in general.
