| Sumario: | La dama boba by Lope de Vega has been one of the most studied comedies in the Argentinean universities. A retrospective look on the texts that have circulated since the 60s leads us to ask ourselves how we read this comedy, how the critics’ perspective changed from the preliminary studies to the edited text, and which of these contributions still illuminate the lecture of the scholars. The purpose of this study is to answer these questions, analyzing the circulating editions from the one of Alonso Zamora Vicente to the one coordinated by Marco Presotto. |
