Sumario:A cultural history of Mendoza from the perspective of philosophical and educational ideas has hardly been addressed by regional historiography. There are some studies that make an overall approach and others that deal with philosophical and / or educational ideas through the work of prominent figures, or the publication of periodicals, or the reconstruction of institutional histories. On the other hand, there are documentary archives available in the Province for the investigation of the circulation of philosophical and educational ideas. The research carried out in the previous biennium revealed the existence of issues and debates not yet explored, as well as moments of high discursive density that have not yet been considered in an overall perspective, nor incorporated in the existing periodizations. With this second stage of the project we try to advance in the pursuit of the general objective of recovering significant moments of the cultural development of the Province of Mendoza, especially through its philosophical and educational expressions, from the end of the 19th century to the present. The hypothesis that guides the inquiries affirms that it is possible to critically reconstruct the history of the philosophical and educational ideas of Mendoza during the 20th century and to propose a periodization that allows the articulation of moments of emergency, dialogues and debates between different theoretical and practical positions. For this purpose, the specific methodology of the history of ideas is invoked through critical hermeneutical work and discursive analysis tools. It also provides for the rescue of materials in documentary collections and archives, its cataloging and digitization.
