| Sumario: | It is not known until now if there are differences in tolerance to water stress of clones of the same variety of vine developed over long periods of time in different environments. The high interest expressed by the industry of the Torrontés Riojano variety has motivated the establishment of a clonal selection program through which 60 clones have been selected from the provinces of Salta and La Rioja, which have been implanted in the province of Mendoza in 2010. In this work we propose to select clones of Riojano torrontes with qualitative differential characteristics, and that present a difference to water tolerance. |
