Sumario:  Within the framework of studies on regional development, as a continuation of one of the lines of research projects 2011-13, and 2013-15 approved by the SECTyP, UNCuyo, and from a more general, sociological, historical, geographical, and multidisciplinary perspective. economic of contemporary society proposes the present project that seeks to analyze the problem of global tensions and their local manifestation. Specifically, the productive circuits are taken as an object of study, examining how different macroeconomic changes at a global and national level affect the development processes of regional spaces. In a more strict sense, it is expected to contribute to the knowledge of the configuration of regional spaces paying attention to the provincial socio-economic structure. For this, it will be used to study the specific markets of the circuits analyzed; the production of income and its distributive dynamics and the spatial and social configuration of the population. We start from the criterion that the institutions that order these processes result from the interrelationships between agents with different spatial insertions and institutional and material capacities, which are not always transparent. Differential practices will be analyzed in relation to the intervening capitals, individual or collective representations, and their spatial manifestations. The mechanisms that converge in the social transformations and in the material and symbolic practices or strategies deployed by the agents within the framework of certain spaces will be the object of particular analysis. Particularly, how global and local logics concur in social practices in the processes of growth and development.
