| Sumario: | 35 years after the transition to democracy in Argentina, the new information and communication technologies under the Open Government paradigm create a window of opportunity to innovate in the way in which the Government promotes citizen's participation and civic culture, while advancing in new forms of articulation between knowledge production centres and States.Within this framework, our project seeks to develop an open web platform for the production, communication, and exchange about Mendoza electoral system. To this end, we seek to gather, systematize and mediate information about the electoral regime of the Province of Mendoza and its electoral dynamics, from 1983 to the present, with the purpose of transforming it into accessible, clear and pedagogical data, oriented to the general public.Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to the strengthening of Government transparency mechanisms, by providing a tool to materialize the right to public information, strengthen cooperation ties between the Province and the Provincial State and provide an accessible web platform for citizen education. |
