| Sumario: | One of the aims of Río Negro’s Atlantic Coast Regulation and Natural Resources Protection Programme is to promote innovating experiences linked to Río Negro’s coastline littoral natural and cultural heritage protection. This is not possible unless they are accompanied by a strong environment awareness aimed at different social sectors. In order to achieve it, the First Workshop Seminar is carried out which allows to generate a proposal bases of an Environment Awareness Integral Policy. Later a survey addressed to the community in general and to teachers is made which proposes to analyze each of the environmental problems. A teachers’ Course and an annual contest organization, “Let’s Know our Coasts”, addressed to the educational community and where 430 students from the three coastal sites participate actively, are also done. Environment awareness materials are devised and handed out, made after a diagnosis work, information and photographic material compilation. La implementación de una estrategia de Educación Ambiental que permita generar en la comunidad una mayor capacidad para comprender el ambiente y que contribuyan a valorar el patrimonio natural y cultural, es el eje fundamental para alcanzar el desarrollo sustentable de la región. Es por ello que se plantea el objetivo de generar una política integral de sensibilización ambiental que permita incluir la temática ambiental en los diferentes sectores sociales y modalidades del sistema educativo. They are organized in sets of 10 games each (jigsaw puzzles, images book, memotest, among others), the content of which is about flora and fauna, greater ecological awareness areas and the conservation principles. Finally, a Workshop for the Cooperation in Environment Impacts Prevention and Mitigation in the Atlantic Coast is carried out, which allows to conform an Alert and Communication network, which contributes to the already existing formalization and strengthening. |
