Sumario:According to Leo Strauss, Political Philosophy is no other thing than the purpose of responding to a central problem: the question about what form of government can best render achievable the “good life”. This question may entail two different answers, which Strauss call Classical Solution and Modern Solution. Although only the former should be considered the right answer to that problem, it faces many difficulties and contradictions that are analyzed in this paper.
