Sumario:Based on the theoretical methodological model of editorial intentionality, which argues that journalism is objective (because it refers to sources) and partial (takes a position), we analyze the coverage made by the newspapers UNO and Los Andes about the Law on Audiovisual Communication Service. The hypothesis was that local newspapers built, trough journalistic articles, a common sense that responded to their corporate interests in deterioration of the Human Right of communication. The analysis consisted of a media observatory that combined quantitative and qualitative methodology, from August 27 to October 11, 2009.
