Sumario: | Bronchial asthma is the most common chronic childhood disease;
it affects millions of people worldwide. It is considered a chronic
inflamatory disorder of the airways associated with a severe
bronchial response against various stimuli; it causes recurrent,
reversible and spontaneous episodes of crisis. The asthmatic
patients, with or without treatment, show alterations in their oral
cavity, and more caries. From the studies about the revised
literature related to the topic, I obtained information about the
following: the effects, at the mouth level, in the children who
suffer from this desease, the causes of these effects and the
measures to carry out in order to prevent them. |
