Sumario:Arab-Andaluzian poetesses form a unique case in Medieval European literature; they cultivated lyric poetry in classic Arabic in the Iberian peninsula within certain canons and themes common to their epoch, in the same geographical, social, cultural and religious space. Their delicate compositions modify the lyrical panorama of medieval Spain and contribute to redesign a new poetic map in which the literary creation is placed in neither non canonical nor traditional feminine voices.
