Sumario:Until beginin decade of 1960, the architectural field of Mendoza was integrated mainly by male. While other provinces like Buenos Aires, Rosario and Córdoba had a long list of female architects graduated, Mendoza, having not yet a local Faculty, had hardly any women in the profession. Graciela Hidalgo studied Architecture in the Faculty of Córdoba, and after graduated in 1964, she moved into Mendoza and she integrated of this litle group of women. In 1967, she got into the Works Direction of Municipality of Capital of Mendoza and since this office she intervenced diferents urban spaces of the city. The aim of this paper is to investigate the partipation of female architects into the Architectural field of Mendoza through the professional experience of Graciela Hidalgo into the WorksDirection of Capital of Mendoza, betwen 1967 and 1973.
