Sumario:This article addresses the study of the engraving based on a design by Bois-le-Duc artist, Abraham van Diepenbeeck, opened by the engraver Conrad Lauwers, with the motive of Saint Mary Magdalene of Pazzi receiving from the hands of Saint Albert Communion. This engraving served as a model for one of the stained glass paintings in the cloister of the Carmelite convent of Boxmeer, made by van Diepenbeeck himself. Not only the iconographic analysis is approached, but the role played by the counts of Boxmeer, to whom the print is dedicated, is promoted as promoters of the founding of Carmelite convent. At the same time, it allows us to influence the role that engraving design played in van Diepenbeeck`s artistic production.
