Sumario:This paper rebuilds the process of initial territorialisation process of the field located around 40 kilometres southeast from the City of Mendoza by analysing the modalities for land access, their dynamics for interchange and the participating subjects to determine how these community links were built and gained visibility in front of the Capitular authorities and how they conceptualised this rural area to meet governmental ends. By doing this, it is expected to contribute to the discussion field that reflects upon the political spaciality, their articulations with the communities that organize them and the ways in which these production practices shape a dynamic key to the later. The corpus of primary sources include mainly notarial protocols, civil justice and irrigation files, but also Council records, governmental letters and census records of both the colonial and independent sections.
