Concerning the results, they illustrate not only the relevance that the press acquired as an essential instrument in different planes of the political fight, but also the active participation of many of its members in the political arena of Córdoba, which had, as a corollary, the shift of power for some, and the forging of solid links on the national political level for others. Los objetivos del artículo son, por un lado, visibilizar algunas características de la prensa política cordobesa de la década de 1880, un ámbito clave donde se expresó el desacuerdo y la lucha política en aquellos años, mientras que, por otro, identificar a sus protagonistas y la función que cumplieron parte de ellos durante los años centrales del régimen oligárquico nacional. Respecto a los resultados, los mismos dan cuenta no solo de la relevancia que adquirió la prensa como herramienta indispensable en distintos planos de la lucha política, sino también de la activa participación de muchos de sus miembros en la arena política cordobesa, la cual tuvo como corolario el desplazamiento del poder para algunos, y la forja de sólidas vinculaciones en el plano político nacional para otros.
