It is not only a literary piece but also a testimonial one written to account for an individual and collective history in order to keep the memory/memories of a fact. But what happens when memories are blurry, raveled, confusing because the past is traumatic and have young children as protagonists? Here’s where fiction gets going: it is able to retrieve memories but also to fill the void, the gaps. It can re-write history and deliver a complete memory. Quien soy (o ¿Quién soy?). Relatos sobre identidad, nietos y reencuentros es una colección de cuentos que, destinados a un público infanto-juvenil, fueron reelaborados por artistas de trayectoria en el ámbito local y versan sobre el testimonio de cinco nietos que fueron apropiados durante el (auto)denominado Proceso de Reorganización Nacional (1976-1983) y recuperados tiempo después por sus familiares. Es por tanto una obra literaria, pero también testimonial, que se escribe para dar cuenta de una historia individual pero también colectiva, para que la/s memoria/s sobre un hecho queden impresas. Pero, ¿qué pasa cuando los recuerdos son borrosos, enmarañados, confusos, porque son recuerdos traumáticos que tienen como protagonistas a niños de corta edad? Aquí es donde la ficción pone a funcionar su maquinaria: recupera, pero también llena los vacíos, los huecos. Reescribe la historia, entrega una memoria completa.
