The dialogues between music, painting, and literature, which are a constant in his writing, are formalized more clearly in the construction of the aesthetic object book-musical cd El arte de la fuga (2016), with illustrations by Ana Sanz Durán and music by Nico Cota of Editorial Treintayseis. The story of the characters, musical figures who decide to escape from the pentagram, is narrated through different languages that establish multiple relationships among themselves. In this article, we aim to explore from some notes the aesthetic proposal of the book that is constructed as a metafictional device, insofar as it challenges the reader by calling attention to its mode of construction. Un rasgo notable de la poética de Luis Sagasti consiste en la relación entre las artes no verbales y la palabra. Los diálogos entre música, pintura y literatura, que constituyen una constante en su escritura, se formalizan de modo más evidente en la construcción del objeto estético libro-cd musical El arte de la fuga (2016), con ilustraciones de Ana Sanz Durán y música de Nico Cota de Editorial Treintayseis. La historia de los personajes, figuras musicales que deciden escapar del pentagrama, se narra por medio de distintos lenguajes que establecen entre sí múltiples relaciones. En este artículo intentaremos, a partir de algunas notas, explorar la propuesta estética del libro que se construye como un dispositivo metaficcional, en la medida en que interpela al lector llamando la atención sobre su modo de construcción.
