Sumario:In our daily life, and even in curricular spaces whose main object is writing, a dominant conception often appears that focuses the approaches on their communicative or recording function and restricts its object through a purely instrumental view. In consequence, the reflection on its aesthetic, technical, epistemological and ontological dimensions is overlooked, producing a lack of this kind of exercise, which could enrich the practice and thought about reading and writing practices even in cases where the objective is to cultivate them as a mere vehicle of communication. Asemic writings, in particular, have been approached and problematized from the disciplines that involve the visual arts but have very often been left out of literary studies. In this paper, we propose its characterization and conceptualization within the framework of an articulation with algorithmic writing, and we wonder about the effects of meaning that we can attribute to asemic writing practices within the framework of the informational turn.
