| Sumario: | The dossier Southers imaginaries in literature and diverse arts invites to reflect on the way in which contemporary artistic productions problematize the notion of the South. The introduction to the dossier proposes a journey focused on the lines of analysis that orchestrate the different studies: on the one hand, the (audio)visual format, on the other, literature and dramatic literature, each of them examined from an ultra-contemporary, post-literary, intermedial and intersectional field of research. Both the audiovisual and literary productions studied in this dossier raise the new furrows in which the notion of the South transits today. Postcolonial, deconstructivist and feminist approaches also give an account of a concept that, beyond a stereotyped identity engendered by the discourses coming from the North, evolves towards a position of emancipatory self-consciousness. |
