| Sumario: | The increased number of environmental conflicts has contributed to the politicization of the environment in our country. The case of Atuel river is presented as a conflict framed in this national scenario that is attractive because of the notoriety that reached the same. The purpose of this work was to build the historical trajectory of the environmental conflict of Atuel river within the provincial scale, on the basis of he conformation of the public arena around the environmental issue. Historical moments were identified in which the conflict takes a sudden notoriety on the national scale. However it was between the 70's and 80's that the interprovincial demand is consolidated as the visible face of the conflict, oposing the provinces of La Pampa and Mendoza. The construction of the historical trajectory llowed to expose the controversies within each province and between these, linked to the definition of a public problem and the technical and legal arguments that defined it. |
