Sumario:The objective of the following article investigates the way in which the local historiographies of a city in Greater Córdoba-Argentina, from the prism of their discourses on the landscape, produce memories and a historical story with a totalizing intention, operating from a montage with different times and colonial traces. Paying attention to the way in which cultural approaches to landscape in geography articulated the relationship between landscape and history, the context of production, content and performances in which two local historiographies are published at the moment in which marked changes transformed the urban and social landscape of the city. Recognizing the conceptual and historical reservations regarding the anachronistic use of the term landscape, the anachronism in local historiographies is pointed out when using landscape to refer to a society and context -colonial- where its landscape appreciation is considered uncertain. By pointing out anachronism, the aim is not to highlight some epistemological error, but rather to show the epistemological policy that underlies these montages. The power of its performative dimension is thus revealed by articulating landscape and temporality to a certain way of managing and administering margins and markers of social and moral difference in the locality.
