Sumario:Classical Tradition must be understood from two perspectives: on one hand, it is the recurrence, on the part of the author, of elements associated with the Classical World, which are updated or acquire new meanings in the work and, on the other hand, it is the discipline that studies these recurrences. In this way, this work will show how Lisímaco Chavarría, approaching the sources of the Classic World, uses a variety of classical motifs, both Greek and Roman, to develop, in his poetry book Orquídeas, the most various themes.
