Sumario:We study how Ida Vitale has received Homer in her work. We discover by the image of the palimpsest, that this referent is revealed over and over again, and we travel the different ways in which its relevance is demonstrated in her texts, ranging from Penelope's vision to the approach by sound or humor, passing through an indirect tradition in painting. The multiplicity of texts that demonstrate the depth of assimilation and its possibilities and the lack of previous approaches to this theme justify our contribution.
