Sumario: | Advances of the research project "Innovative teaching practices in geography and history that promote critical thinking", which is developed in the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, are exposed. The production of teachers is analyzed in the framework of different training instances on the approach of social problems carried out in 2017.
It was sought that the teachers could rethink their practices and develop didactic scripts that will be distanced to some extent from what is already known. In this process they were asked to formulate problems that they considered relevant for the discipline they teach but also for the students and their concrete contexts. The selection that each one has made has revealed the own vision of the world and of social change.
There are achievements and difficulties to formulate contextualized problems and carry out modifications in the methodological construction, as well as inconsistencies with the innovation principles to which they claimed to adhere. Additionally, we look at the values that appear implicit in their options, and if these allow the formation of a democratic, active and responsible citizenship in the face of the different current conflicts. |
