Sumario:The purpose of this article is to report a set of findings regarding the educational strategies of young rural women in the town of Barreal, department of Calingasta, San Juan. The work assumes a qualitative research strategy, which allows women to be seen as producers of practices and senses. Rural young women deploy strategies -not necessarily conscious of it- enabled by the conformation of the educational structure, and in homologous linkage to a set of social dispositions related to the conditions of being rural, being young, and being a woman, internalized and differentiated according to the class position occupied within the rural social area.
