Sumario:During 2020, in the context of a COVID-19 pandemic and Obligatory Preventive Social Isolation (ASPO), we proposed and lived an educational experience with students of the Undergraduate degree of Social Work at the National University of San Juan, in the course: "Elective Orientation Education".In this article, we aim at sharing this dual purpose experience: On the one hand, as a pedagogical activity in itself and of great value for Social Work, as its realization not only enabled the approach to the content of the course; but also the practice of essential skills for the discipline, such as registration, writing, analysis, etc. On the other hand, as a testimony of the vital experience of university students who had to re-learn to be students, in times of pandemic. All this, anchored from the contributions of social narratives, since they configure an appropriate theoretical-methodological support to achieve both tasks of this article; at the same time that they enable a reflection on the teaching practice, as a metanarrative of the experience carried out.
