Sumario:Nowadays, there are several issues that concern the field of education in general. These concerns include various approaches to literacy, alternative evaluation methods, effective teaching strategies, and the integration of new resources in the classroom, among others. However, these are just the surface-level concerns. Under these broad topics, there are more specific, or disciplinary, considerations. Each academic discipline has its own unique perspectives that encompass what and how to teach and learn. Philosophy is no exception to this. Nevertheless, it is crucial to recognize the elements that set it apart. These elements include the lack of consensus on its definition, how it views its teaching as a philosophical problem in itself, its somewhat delicate position within educational institutions, and the significant volume of philosophical work it has generated over the past few decades.Taking these factors into account, this paper aims to contribute to the field of philosophy education. It seeks to explore the potential of incorporating emotions into a space that is often regarded as purely rational. In doing so, it draws on the perspectives of various philosophers, particularly those who have contemplated the pedagogical aspects of philosophy.
