Sumario: | In this article I will try to develop some marginal glosses on a comment by Walter Benjamin on Bertold Brecht's poem “Of the child who didn't want to wash”. Benjamin's comment starts from the taste for dirt to recover the thought of Charles Fourier and his perspective of playful work. I will try to show how, based on the reception of Fourier's thought, Benjamin's commentary on Brecht's poem establishes deep links between the liberation of work and the radical transformation of the bond between human beings and non-humans. This link will make it possible to propose interesting dialogues between Benjamin's thought, the socialist utopian tradition, new materialisms and ecological thought. |
