Sumario:Considering the development of the theories of literary space and the spatial study of the works of Roberto Bolaño, this article aims to present the construction of the space in the novel 2666 (2004). The premise of the study consists of treating space as a social, historical, cultural, political, and multidimensional existence, and taking the combined influence of Bolaño's imagination, memory, and personal experience in his production into consideration, in this way we can visualize his complex universe of stories, characters, and territories and, at the same time, reflect on thorny issues such as the asymmetry of power in the geographical area, conflicts between the center and the periphery, civilization and barbarism, etc.
