Sumario:It is estimated that the current demand for water by the population sector in Mendoza is 285.01 hm3/year, of which 59.12% refers to residential demand, 9.81% to commercial demand, and 31.07% corresponds to conduction and distribution losses. The greatest demand for water is concentrated in the basin of the Mendoza and lower Tunuyán rivers, with 82.84% of the total. The construction of scenarios has made it possible to achieve estimates of water servings ranging from 19% to 72% compared to current demand.
