This is based on religion and the Roman's distinctive quality to understand the will of the gods. Two actions arise from this: the founding of cities that shape ancient Europe and its consequent patriotism as a defense of sacred places. La labor fundacional del romano se extiende del hogar a la ciudad dando forma a una concepción política imperial. Desde sus orígenes la cultura romana se caracteriza por la agricultura, el hogar que se asienta sobre el fuego sagrado y su defensa. Esto se asienta en la religión y en la cualidad distintiva del romano para comprender la voluntad de los dioses. De aquí brotan dos cosas: la fundación de ciudades que dan forma a la antigua Europa y su consecuente patriotismo como defensa de los espacios sagrados.
