Sumario:According to Nancy Fraser, neoliberalism has co-opted the feminist emancipation ideal, becoming capitalism’s maid. The author here enquires, through the revision of some central elements of the post-dictatorship gender discourse that took the place of feminism in institutions, if that affirmation applies to the Chilean case. In our days, "feminism" has ceased to be a forbidden word, and we confront to a neoliberal feminism, where the notions of "entrepreneurship" and "responsibility" replace emancipation in a context of feminization of precariousness and debt.
