| Sumario: | This paper wonders about territorial conflicts associated with changes in land use, and access to commons goods in the location of Vichigasta, La Rioja, Argentina. They happended because of expansion of the borders of commodification of nature, hand in hand with food exports and the intensification of the use of common goods. So the article analyses these topics from 1998 to 2018. The methodology used to collect information, combines field interviews, participatory methodologies and the analysis of satellite images. The results show that the productive area has increased by 654% in 20 years. Consequently, there were territorial dispute for territorial ‘s organization. The absence and promotion of spaces for participatory planning of the Vichigasteño space, turned out to be one of the main problems of the territorial disputes. The creation of a reserve is seen as a strategy to limit expansion, while conflicts within the place continue to emerge. |
