Sumario: | According to Kurt Spang, the different arts —painting, music, literature, etc.— in addition to their individual characteristics, present essential elements common to all of them. This makes it possible to demonstrate that the arts are related to each other in an original and fruitful way, just as the different national literatures are. In this sense, Spang proposes a series of components or essential elements that should be considered to define the mode to which different works belong. In this case we focus on the lyric mode to show that the painting Ankle boots with Ties, by Vincent van Gogh, belongs to lyric, as does the poem “Ankle boots with ties, by Vincent van Gogh”, by Olga Orozco. |
