Sumario:Domingo de Soto reread the Summa Theologiae texts in the cathedra of vespers of Theology. A result of these classes was a manuscript that did not go to press at the time and is known today as Latin Ottobonian 782. In this brief work, I propose to show how the Segoviean proceeded when exposing the texts of Aquinas commenting on them without going too far but without losing the essential of them, and contextualizing them in light of debates that arose after Thomas and in relation to his teaching. In this way, Soto manages to bring the medieval texts to his time updating the doctrine.
