To this end, we begin by introducing the proposal in the broad framework of speculative realism; then, we point out the most relevant ideas of the fields of meaning, especially their ascription to ontological and epistemological realism; finally, we suggest some paradoxes included in this proposal. As an original perspective, sense fields are considered as a contribution to the epistemological foundation of the human sciences. Este artículo se propone identificar los rasgos más relevantes de la propuesta de los campos de sentido, así como señalar algunas de las posibles paradojas que encierra. Para tal fin, se comienza introduciendo la propuesta en el marco amplio del realismo especulativo; posteriormente, se señalan las ideas más relevantes de los campos de sentido, en especial, su adscripción al realismo ontológico y epistemológico; finalmente, se sugieren algunas paradojas presentes en dicha propuesta. En cuanto perspectiva original, se considera que los campos de sentido aportan a la fundamentación epistemológica de las ciencias humanas.
