Even though in his last years of life the author thematizes the ethical question, while before he had inquired through the modern subject, it was not with a theoretical intention, but doing a critique of morality and leading to the constitution of a new ethical subject. Additionally, we propose a distinction among "ethic" and "moral" where the first one refers to the practices in which the individuals are formed singularly, whereas the second one refers to the modes of normalization and control that shape the subjects of knowledge.
