In 1938 the provincial State proposed the formation of the Corporation of Fruit Growers of Mendoza, whose main objective was to facilitate the commercialization of the fruit in the national market - in front of the competition of other regional productions - and thus encourage the consumption of a product that does not It was widespread in the diet of the popular sectors.In this article we will provide a first overview of the entrepreneurs that energized the sector, and what were the associative mechanisms that generated each other and with the State. A partir de la consolidación de la fruticultura en Mendoza durante la década de 1930, se identificó un grupo de empresarios y productores nucleados al sector, con una multiplicidad de intereses y demandas. Con ellos, se verifica el surgimiento de diferentes entidades gremiales. El número y la simultaneidad de estas instituciones permite anticipar intereses contrapuestos o, al menos, fragmentarios. En 1938 el Estado provincial propuso la formación de la Corporación de Fruticultores de Mendoza, cuyo principal objetivo era facilitar la comercialización de la fruta en el mercado nacional –frente a la competencia de otras producciones regionales- e incentivar así el consumo de un producto que no estaba generalizado en la dieta de los sectores populares.En este artículo aportaremos un primer panorama de los empresarios que dinamizaron el sector, y cuáles fueron los mecanismos asociativos que generaron entre sí y con el Estado.
