It is an exploratory approach given the still scarce production of knowledge on the subject in this specific context. Thus, we intend to contribute knowledge to it based on the specificity of the scale of analysis. The theoretical-methodological approach starts from the postulates of intersectionality feminism. In this sense, we are interested in understanding how social inequalities are articulated with regard to social classes, genders and generations in migratory experiences at origin and, with emphasis, at destination. Likewise, as it is a current of recent growth in the Province, we reconstruct its evolution within the framework of the process registered at the national and regional level. With the ultimate goal of producing knowledge that contributes to the public sphere to guarantee rights to migrant populations and social, cultural and gender equity, we propose this approach. The information construction techniques used were the analysis of documents, official records, and in-depth interviews and direct observation between 2018 and 2019. El presente artículo analiza los recientes procesos migratorios de población venezolana hacia el Área Metropolitana de la provincia de Mendoza, Argentina. Se trata de un abordaje exploratorio, dada la aún escasa producción de conocimiento sobre la temática en este contexto específico. Pretendemos, así, aportar conocimiento al mismo a partir de la especificidad de la escala de análisis. El enfoque teórico-metodológico parte de los postulados del feminismo de la interseccionalidad. En este sentido, nos interesa comprender cómo se articulan las desigualdades sociales en lo que respecta a las clases sociales, géneros y generaciones en las experiencias migratorias en origen y en destino. Asimismo, al tratarse de una corriente de reciente crecimiento en la Provincia, reconstruimos su evolución en el marco del proceso registrado a nivel nacional y regional. Con el fin último de producir conocimiento que contribuya al ámbito de lo público para garantizar derechos a las poblaciones migrantes y equidad social, cultural y de género, es que proponemos este acercamiento. Las técnicas de construcción de la información utilizadas fueron el análisis de documentos, registros oficiales y la realización de entrevistas en profundidad y observación directa entre los años 2018 y 2019.
