Sumario:To better understand French wine production, its evolution and transformations, the article offers an idealtypology of production models. This sector is indeed characterized by a diversity of models, both complementary and competing. Some refer to the social and economic history of the industry, others emerge and shake up these old structures. The current reconfiguration can be explained by market dynamics that can be understood both from the angle of the growing segmentation of markets and from that of a plurality of brand logics, specific to this sector.
