Sumario:The importance of reflecting on how we relate to the different forms of life on our planet is essential because we coexist in the same environment. In Agustina Bazterrica’s novel Exquisite Corpse (2017) a dystopian world is created where the meat industry changes completely by having to implement human flesh and with it the interaction of humans with nature varies. This daily consumption of human meat generates an evolution for the industry and with it new forms of exploitation of the human body are examined. Influenced by the forms of exploitation of animals, various markets and products are created for the full use of bodies. In addition to this, the novel emphasizes that human interactions with other living beings are influenced by our personal interests, and this reinforces our vision of a nature that exists just for us to use. Likewise, the variations in the relationship of a person with food depending on their economic position are analysed. In addition, it is observed that, thanks to fear, a brutal and legitimized violence toward animals is generated. All of this supported by language that seeks to minimize and alter the relationship between human person, human head and animals.
