Sumario:This book is being published in response to ECLAC's concern with problems relating to the status of women. Although the three studies it contains were prepared for different governmental forums in the second half of the Decade for Women, their contents certainly transcend the needs for which they were prepared and constitute a contribution which will interest anyone concerned with this question. There are also two annexes, the first of which provides information on United Nations legislation in connection with the rights of women and its application in domestic law, while the second contains resolutions from recent regional meetings sponsored by the United Nations on the subject of women.
