Sumario: | Objectives: Contribute to the health promotions
field within inpatient context, describing and
analyzing the artistic production modality within
the reading promotion’s strategy in its reparative
dimension considering Michèle Petit’s theoretical
conceptions. Materials and methods:
Qualitative, descriptive and retrospective study.
The Reading Promotions Team registries from
June 2015 to June 2017, inclusively, were used.
The strategy takes place in an inpatient context in
units 5 and 6 of the General Hospital Dr. Enrique
Tornú’s internal medicine’s service. The
registration tool is participative, open and
systematic. The registration and standardization
technique is the vignette which aims to reflect
the acting subject’s expressions. Results and
discussions: The reparative effects of the artistic
production modality within the reading
promotion’s strategy are highlighted in two
dimensions: the development of an intimate
space within a public space and the
subjectivation process. The results were reached
from the categorization and analysis of the
concepts developed by Michèle Petit.
Conclusions: This study contributes to the health
promotion’s field. Furthermore, it contributes to
