Sumario:Architecture is a discipline that has been defining its theoretical corpus in accordance with cultural and social changes, throughout its history. With the crisis of the modern paradigm, in the middle of the 20th century its postulates are revised, incorporating into the architectural conception factors in relation to the psychological needs of man and his habitat.The architectural phenomenology corresponds to an epistemological reformulation of architecture. Architecture is the materialization of human aspirations that are built from experiences that give meaning to their existence. Architecture is the physical expression of the phenomenon of civilized inhabitation, it leaves a record of "human actions".This project deals with the teaching of architecture from the phenomenological conception in which the ways of apprehending the world through sensitive experience are incorporated, in a rigorous and systematic way. The phenomenology of the second half of the twentieth century (influenced by Merleau Ponty) includes the senses, perception. These principles are part of the usual language of design practice, in which aesthetic, sensitive experiences are involved, in order to achieve an integrating and humanized approach to the generating idea of ​​the work to be designed.This line of thought is part of the new architectural trends and is being incorporated into research centers of national and international design processes. It is rare that it is officially incorporated into the curricular designs of architecture curricula. The Postgraduate Diploma in Phenomenological Architecture that is taught in the Engineering Faculty of the National University of Cuyo is a novelty recognized by a large number of institutions dedicated to the teaching of architecture (undergraduate and postgraduate).As the architectural avant-garde in the training of architects has been incorporated at the graduate level, it is an interesting opportunity (because it is available at the regional level of human resources trained in this line) to strengthen the reflective stage prior to the generation of the project idea.In this investigation the aspects of the phenomenological architecture will be deepened in order to verify the presence of its variables in the generation of interior spaces, in the critical formation and in the proposals of diverse architectural themes.
