Sumario: | In this article, we develop the project of an epistemology of visibility in order to dismantle and examine the gender and colonial biases of knowledge. Our primary aim is to question the so-called “double subalternity” identified by various Latin American critical theories (Femenías, 2009) and argue in favor of an epistemic conjunction between feminist and decolonial criticism, so as to achieve a complex thinking. Starting from the analysis of some recent experiences in our academic unit, we propose some theoretical and practical considerations on the intertwining between feminist critique and critique of coloniality. |
