| Sumario: | In the last 10 years in the Latin American Southern Cone, important investments have been made in the agricultural sector by global agri-food corporations. Investments in the production of soy, forestry, minerals, sugar cane, meat complex, etc., made by such corporations have reconfigured the rural social space in different dimensions of analysis, one of these being the labor market. The article sets out to analyze the social conditions of rural wage earners through Rubén Kaztman's categories and two dimensions of decent employment: equity and productive work. Such analysis is carried out in a transversal way from the perspective of generations. The study is developed in a conceptual framework of debate about the productive-technological transformations of agricultural production, and their impacts on the rural social space. The data would indicate social conditions of inequity and inequalities in the productive work, according to the generational group of the wage earner. The methodology applied through statistical analysis techniques was used to analyze the Continuous Household Surveys 2006 - 2016, as they had information on the labor market and living conditions of rural wage earners. |
