Descripción
Sumario:The present work describes the particularity of the pre-Hispanic wedding In Mocencahuac (the pairing) with symbolic expressions that reinforce the progressive positioning of cultural and religious tourism in the central region of Mexico. The ancestral legacy has a representation that associates components embodied in the territories and that emerge due to their high value in modernity. Cultural and partially religious hybridism is used as a theoretical framework,to evoke a positive historical regression and recreate the experiential experience in the spouses. The narrative method is used with in-depth interviews to three actors who have received ancestral permission to carry out this ceremony. The findings show all the components that are offered to tourism or to those who are convinced of the authenticity of natural, social and community values. It is concluded that In Mocencahuac is not a mediated ritual linked to reality, but a clear expression of identifying content, which is part of the touristic offer and experiences in Mexico.
